its so unlike me to explain

I find it hard to entertain everybody else
when I couldn't picture in a million years
an image of myself in frame

at the top of that old bookshelf filled with writers who complain
about never finding god & still they use his name in vain
in the backside of your wallet torn by dirty pocket change
where my face is too worn out by now for you to appertain
